It’s officially June and we are halfway through the year! How did that happen? Honestly, the past few months feel like a blur..
VIVID Sydney kicked off its 10th anniversary last Friday night. Were you out and about in Sydney enjoying the lights, culture and events celebrating our wondrous city? No worries if you missed opening night as the 23-day festival is on ’til June 16 so there’s plenty of time for you to brave the cold weather to check out what’s happening around our Sydney. Make sure you catch the work of our good friend Jonathan Zawada lighting the sails with his work ‘METAMATHEMAGICAL.’
My month of May was predominantly focused on Australian Fashion Week, but on the live music front, I did manage to catch R&B singer H.E.R’s Australian debut this past Tuesday at the Sydney Opera House for Vivid Sydney, which turned out to be a very special and intimate performance.
